Historic Heryford Building

This building is the cornerstone of Lakeview, located on Highway 395 and Center Streets in the heart of the business district across the street from the Lake County Court House. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was the first building built outside of Portland to be constructed with a steel girder frame system and a brick facade in 1913.

The bottom floor was originally the Lakeview Mercantile and recently had offices on the first floor. The second floor had offices on the south looking out on the court house square and a large meeting facility for the Lakeview Elks Lodge.

This building is now available for your uptown commercial retail establishments. The town is crying out for more good restaurants and a brew pub. We have two original 1900's back bars availiable.
